The first day of the Eurobike 2013 is over: the Demoday in Ratzenried was a great event with lots of X-BIONIC® fans and sunny weather. All test pilots were equipped with our new bike wear and the latest technologies The Trick® and Thorny Devil. Our test rides started at 10 am with a short introduction of the new technologies. Hanka Kupfernagel and Horst Reichel came with us at the off and on road tracks and gave some insider tips for a better training and race experience. Our X-BIONIC® video team had great opportunities to film some nice impressions of the riders and the location.
Last weekend two riders of the Projekt cieo set a new tandem world record: they rode 83 kilometers in one hour on a bicycle from a standing start! The riders Ruben Koch and Dominik Dusek beat the 33 years old record of 74,51 kilometers per hour from 1980 clearly. To get the best performance the team was equipped with X-BIONIC® by the Cycling Emotion AG from Zurich on it´s record ride. Congratulations for that great achievement!

This year´s edition of the Tour de Suisse passed Wollerau at it´s 6th stage, where the home of X-BIONIC® is located. We decided to watch the Tour de Suisse racers live and supported them while riding uphill. It was a big pleasure to us when the field came up to Schindellegi, where we supported the riders with lots of other spectators. The front of the race had a gap of 13 minutes to the main field and nearly kept this until the finish in Meilen.
The local hero from Switzerland Gregory Rast finally won the race with a sprint of the four runaways. Peter Sagan won the mass sprint of the main field about 10 minutes after the winner. Now just watch and enjoy our photos from the race![AFG_gallery id=’4′] [authorsure_authors]
