Pedal for no Medal

*Update 10 February 2015

The project Pedal for no Medal has its first anniversary: one year ago they arrived in Sochi. Some weeks ago they published the video of the trip, a really nice one:

Last week they also received their reward from us because they sent us their X-BIONIC® products they used during the adventure. We sent them a The Trick® biking set plus socks and they were happy:

A sunny September TeamRide

On the last weekend of September we organized our first TeamRide with the new X-BIONIC® for Automobili Lamborghini Biking Wear. The weather was perfect and very sunny, everybody was excited and happy about the upcoming event.

We met in the morning here at our headquarter in Wollerau – about 25 TeamRider joined us. Before we started the ride, we had a nice breakfast and the participants got some interesting insights to our development department and products. After this we went on the 65 kilometers long ride along the Zurichsee. We returned from the easy tour around 1 pm and enjoyed our reward: A delicious pizza.

Mastermind Prof. Lambertz had a final speech to our guests and explained the innovative technologies we use for our products. The day was a big success and we are already planning the next event, stay tuned!

How to be a

Road Biker! Some weeks ago we showed you the video How to be a … Mountainbiker, now the same producers published a new video for road cyclists. People who are not familar to road biking may think this is a kind of kidding, but many road cyclists may know the properties that are shown in the trailer. Enjoy this funny short movie!

Queen of Mud: Hanka Kupfernagel

Last weekend Hanka earned her 12th national cyclocross title. She showed an outstanding performance on the heavy track in Döhlau/Bavaria. She left her biggest opponents behind and finished after a race time of 43:15 min and saved a 1:40 min lead to the finish line.

Hanka said about her victory: “I am so happy about this victory. I could bring my best performance on the track, which was very hard to ride, especially the tricky downhill section”. Most of the competitors complained especially about this dangerous part, but Hanka was one of the athletes, who could drive pretty fast  through this section.

In two weeks the world championships in Hoogerheide (NED) will be the next race for Hanka. There she will start in her brand new national champion styled shirt from X-BIONIC®. We wish her all the best for the competition!

Off road season: Cyclocross with Hanka

If you are a road biker, you know that it is hard to ride from autumn to spring during the winter season. Cyclocross could be the right alternative kind of sport for you: it is short, more intensive and makes a lot of fun. We had a photo shooting with Hanka last week and will bring you a small off road guide with some tipps for that sport. The pro athlete and many times world and national champion will give you some tipps for your start to the cyclocross sport.

If you missed it, here is our making of collage form last week at Facebook:
